We believe in family life without limits.
This means driving safety standards
To ensure children have never been better protected on the move
This means pushing boundaries in smart design
To make life in motion run smoother than ever
This means never dictating what path parents should take
But always celebrating the journey
Britax and Römer have been part of a family since 1978 and BOB since 2011. Now we’re making those ties even stronger. As one brand we can go even further in helping parents live family life to the full. With innovation in our DNA and an unchanging commitment to always going the extra mile.
Römer’s precision German engineering and unique heritage working with the automotive industry have been a constant underpinning for its position as standard-setter in child mobility safety. From a shared history we are now focusing on a shared vision – to build an even safer future.
We know that for some parents freedom is being able to nip around town, whereas for others it’s being able to get off the beaten track. That’s why we’re so excited about the latest addition to our family – Britax BOB.
Britax BOB is all about being active together. Whether that means leisurely excursions, speedy 5ks, or muddy trips off-road. Whether you prefer pushing three wheels or pedalling on two wheels. Designed to go fast. Designed to take the hard knocks. Britax Bob means family freedom is whatever you make it.
Made with care – because our children deserve nothing less
This means our minimum requirements go far beyond the legislative guidelines for clean products. It means we test with an independent test house at multiple stages during manufacture. It means all our fabrics are made with the sensitive skin of our children in mind. Made with care.
A culture of firsts
First smiles. First steps. First night without waking. We know there’s nothing like the first time. Here at Britax firsts are our way of pushing boundaries so that you can live family life on your own terms.
Like the ECE R44
Europe’s first ever legislation for car seat standards. We helped to create it in 1981. Then we were the first brand to launch R44 approved restraint systems across Europe.
ISOFIX – that’s another first we’re proud of
Invented by us in collaboration with VW in 1997 to give parents a safer, simpler way to install their car seats. Still setting the standard today for safe installation across Europe.
Our BOB Revolution PRO – another Britax innovation.
The first stroller to be approved in Europe for running and skating with a swivel front wheel. So parents can tackle any terrain at any speed.
Or our KIDFIX XP SICT – yes, a first.
The first Group 2/3 car seat to gain a ‘very good’ safety rating by ADAC and StiWA in October 2013. *
*Stiftung Warentest and ADAC Motorwelt, 10/2013, when used with ISOFIX.
Since the 1960s we’ve played a major role in the development of automotive and child car safety standards.
From helping create the world’s first standard on seat belts – the British Standard in 1960. To guiding the development of Europe’s first regulation on child restraints in 1981 the ECE R44. And influencing each of its revisions right up to the current ECE R44 04. To helping shape the latest step-change in child car safety regulations – the new i-Size standard.
Our engineers are constantly tackling the next generation of child mobility challenges with innovations that continue to transform our industry.
From a stream of seat belt and dynamic testing technologies through the 1960s and 1970s that combined to help shape the modern car restraint industry. To a long list of patents and game-changers. Like the invention of ISOFIX in 1997, working in collaboration with Volkswagen. Or our unique anti-rotation Pivot Link system in 1999. Or the world’s first swivelling front wheel on a running stroller in 2005. And ISOFIX+, our 2011 development that makes ISOFIX even safer, with the added stability of V-Tether anchorage.
We help to set – and raise – standards. We engineer some of the market’s most advanced technologies. But we also bring our expertise together to design a constantly evolving range of products to make family life flow. From Europe’s first infant carrier – tailored protection and a flexible means of transporting our most vulnerable cargo. To one of the world’s most advanced highback booster protection system for older children. To the only running stroller deemed worthy of carrying the name of the iconic endurance event, the Ironman.
Keeping children safe is our utmost priority. As such, we have a strict no-return policy for child safety products as it is not possible to ascertain the complete history (how it was used/if any parts of the product might be compromised) of the product before considering resale. We urge all customers to ensure that the product is suitable for your child and compatible with your vehicle before checking out. For more information on our returns policy, visit our Returns Policy page.

We ship around the world with DHL Express and Registered Mail. In our experience, DHL Express is an incredibly reliable service provider and shipments are handled by DHL Express personnel from beginning to end. Of all the couriers that we have access to in Singapore, DHL is the fastest shipping option humanly possible. We have found that local in-country postal services (Registered Mail) can be less reliable than DHL Express and delays should be expected.

When you reach the checkout page of our website, prices for your selected country will be shown. If you aren't seeing a DHL Express option, please double check your post code and address.
How long will it take?
DHL Express transit times are typically 1-4 business days globally, from dispatch date and we aim to dispatch all orders within 1 business day. Registered Mail transit times are shown at check out, but based on our experience, please expect delays.
Please note that estimated transit times are based on efficient processing at local customs checkpoints. Any delays at customs is solely accountable to the local customs operations and it completely beyond the control of DHL, the postal service provider and Plane Pal Asia.
Will I have to pay import taxes and/or duties upon delivery?
For orders sent by Registered Mail, the shipping cost generally includes prepaid taxes and duties so there should be no additional payment required upon delivery. Please note that each country's local postal service handles import taxes and duties differently and you may be requested to pay additional fees and charges. If you do, please let us know so that we can update this page for the benefit of other customers.
For orders sent by DHL Express, the shipping cost excludes taxes and duties applicable in the destination country and these will be charged to you, by DHL, upon delivery. Please note that import taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of your country's customs department and we have absolutely no control over the amount nor payment methods applied.
